Vacation Accrual Spreadsheet – How to calculate holidays in Excel To calculate the holiday days that we are going to enjoy on an Excel sheet, the first thing we need to know is whether the holiday days per year are counted as natural days or as business days. Both types of work holiday days mean the same rest time, they are simply counted differently. The natural days of holidays in Spain are 30 by law and include Sundays and holidays. In contrast, some labor agreements prefer to count the holidays as working days (without holidays) so they are 22.
